Qigong for Coronavirus Prevention

In my opinion, Coronavirus affects us in three stages. If the virus infiltrates the body, the immune system will fight to defend the body. Some people may be strong enough to harbor the virus and yet not show signs while others experience symptoms.

Stage 1: Once the virus enters the body, it impacts the digestive system. Many people experience stomach aches, nausea, and diarrhea. This is the body’s way of trying to release the virus.

Stage 2: The Stomach has an energetic relationship with the Lung, so as the virus progresses, it impacts the Lung.

Stage 3: If your immune system is not strong, the virus progresses to the Heart.Now is the time for prevention. Here are a few things you can do to strengthen your body:

Eat warming foods: Cook raw vegetables so they are easily digested by the body. Add warming spices, such as ginger, cinnamon and turmeric. And above all, hold the ice!

Get plenty of sleep: Head to bed before midnight. When you work after midnight, the body uses double the amount of Qi to complete a task than it does during the day.

Stay positive: Prevention has a lot to do with perspective. Instead of focusing on fear and negativity, care for your body to the best of your ability.
